Paid extra for warranty, but refused to repair.

I Purchased a sofa Nov 2021. I paid extra for the warranty.

a 1 inch seam began to come apart, in one section.

Also a support, on the right side, became soft.

After a month, they finally sent a representative to review the issues with the sofa.

The room place refused to repair the seam (they stated I could have taken a knife to my sofa and cut the seams, (how ridiculous ,why would I destroy my own sofa?).

(later, they sent an email regarding the weak support on the right side, they refused to fixed that, I am unsure why) in the end they repaired nothing, and I will never buy from them again. (I feel that the warranty and the product, were a waste of my money.).

User's recommendation: Purchase from La-Z-Boy. They come out within two weeks, and repair my husband’s recliner. And sofa recliner in our den.

i drove 1 hr to look at the Finleigh 3 pack tables 265.29 on your website it stated that this item was on the floor in Gurnee. got to store and it was not to befound so where can I see this item I do not want to buy without seeing it and do not want to drive another hour or more not a reliable website

Havent received my order

I orderd 6 dining chairs from this place on may 2021 and up to now still havent received them its been 7 months now this is not right. I had family over for holiday and had to go out and rent chairs . This is very disappointing

I ordered 2 bedroom sets for my daughters beginning of June. I was not told there would be any delays with delivery, due for August 4. I asked repeatedly if the beds require a box spring or come with anything that the mattress goes on. They said everything is included, don't need a box spring. I got 1 bed September 4th, and it's just 3 metal bars.

I visited the Plainfield Indiana location this afternoon. I was offered a deal on some clearance (damaged) floor items. Chance was the salesman and very professional. They tried to collect an additional $125.00 @ checkout. Chance apologized and said he miscommunication. The manager complained ro me in broken English while smoking his cigarette while we unloaded my truck. It was a humiliating experience with a manager who repeatedly asked me I he should "Give the furniture to me." It's obvious why this location has horrible reviews. Pete Burgmeier 812.528.6420

You are a JOKE!!!!. If you are not capable to do your part and keep your word and terms. First, you said delivery is Nov 7th, Then 2 Weeks ago You moved it to January 21st, 2021, now is March 3rd,2021, soon will be December 2022. You took the money, full amount 65 days ago, with the delivery fee and warranty, you are using that money-making more profits investing in a million things, and you can't even predict when the furniture will be delivered, maybe 2029 when there is no Covid 19 but Covid 75, or maybe aliens attack planet earth???

I purchased (or thought I did), two bedroom suits as Christmas gifts in 2020. After weeks of waiting, I called to verify the delivery status. That's when I was told they didn't even have the items and didn't know if they ever would. There was no contact or notification of any kind prior to me calling. So, I requested a refund. At the time of the request (Jan. 06, 2021), the information provided was, "3 to 5 business days" for my refund to be processed. It is now Jan. 25, 2021. I have neither received the refund nor has anyone from The Room Place contacted me. The name should be changed to "The Wrong Place".

We made an online purchase of two (2) bedroom suites as Christmas gifts for my teenage sons. Within minutes of purchasing, the confirmation email was received with all of the details outlined.

As a delivery date, the invoice stated, "As Soon As Possible". After a month, we called to verify the status of the delivery. The customer service agent replied with, "That is no longer available. Would you like to reselect on something else that would be in stock maybe?" (exact quote copied & pasted).

I read that as, "Would I like to try again?

Maybe it will work this time." When I asked why I wasn't informed earlier, why there was no courtesy call, no follow-up contact made and / or no warning whatsoever of our furniture not actually being available, the reply was, "yeah, sorry about that." Apparently, they operate from a reactive standpoint instead of proactive. Probably because concern for the customer isn't a top priority.

I have been trying to use my credit of 160 and change from a sofa set I bought and they said if I never made a repair claim I get that money back . Well no repair was ever needed and I was interested in buying a new love seat . Upon calling youre store the Hispanic man who said nope dont care aint happening go ahead to ever comment I made said Im not getting my credit thought I had been told less than 30 days ago when I went in and picked out a love seat but was still shopping around. Ironically at the same time of doing this my fake leather sofas are suddenly peeling but thats another story . I feel verbally insulted and felt like I was treated like I was looking for something for nothing check your books my family has bought there at the original store for over 50plus years I can give every name and youll see we put our trust in your company and this is how I was treated he was rude arrogant and shouldnt be in sales . My name is Angeline Rofus I have an account with my mom Janet Rofus and other family members have bought there as well the Hoffmanns the Lemkes the Loxas and the Meikel families all my relations and thats only a few to say the least . My number is 847-452-**** Now let me know what you plan on doing for me since I was going to buy the pewter grey live seat minus the credit etc . Im so upset over this Ive called channel 2 news , the BBB and the states attorneys office just to name a few agencies I reached out to channel 2 news is supposed to get back to me later today to see if Ive made contact yet and if anything mores been done

NI ordered a Mauro Fireplace, paid almost $2000 in late August 2020, told it would be delivered on a certain date, didnt happen. I called several times, they NEVER called me. Finally, when the fireplace was delivered there was NO FIREBOX... So I have an Big hole in my fireplace, I called to inquire when it would be delivered, I was told some time in December, the staff was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;amp; UNCONCERNED!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM, IM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW, plus Im contacting the BBB to file a complaint...
