We were very dissapointed at the service we recieved during the installation of our new bedroom furniture. The problems we experience are as follows;
the assembly of the furniture was incomplete. One of the night stands had pieces which were still wrapped in the cardboard in was packed in.
the bedroom was left with packaging material on the floor, as well as on and in the media center.
the footboard for the bed had very visible scuffs which were pointed out during the install but was not addressed.
there is also what was explained to me as glue on the exposed area of the bed rail as well as the top of one of the nightstand.
The media center and on of the nightstands does not have even legs and so it rocks.
the delivery guys the signed the quality sheet, which clearly should have been signed by us (the customer).
When customer service was contacted by phone, the person on the phone suggested we complete the installation of the furniture ourselves.
It seems the professionalism of the roomplace cease as soon as we sign the the deal. We are terribly dissappointed in the service we recieved post purchase and a very interested to hear what steps will be taken to improve this segment of your business. We are repeat customers of the roomplace, but will be forced to consider other options for future furniture purchases if this is not remedied. As a Shop Manager of an industrial equipment manufacturer, I am in the business that requires a certain level of service to our customers. I am certain this not the proper way to go about growing you business.
